ReplicAle 2009
Each year a dozen different Illinois craft brewers create their own version of one style of beer. The style for 2009 is a Belgian wit. To make it interesting, instead of everyone using traditional coriander and orange peel, the choice of spices used in each wit is the decision of the brewer.

All ReplicAles will be featured at AleFest, Saturday, July 11th, at Soldier Field in Chicago. The participating breweries this year are: America's Brewing, Bent River Brewing, Brickstone Restaurant and Brewery, Carlyle Brewing, Crown Brewing, Destihl Restaurant and Brew Works, Emmett's Tavern and Brewing, Granite City Food and Brewery, Goose Island brewpub, Lunar Brewing, Mickey Finn's Brewery, Piece Brewing, Ram Restaurant and Brewery - Wheeling, and Rock Bottom Restaurant and Brewery - Warrenville.
